Cancellation Policy

Every CopperDoodle item is printed to order, so there is a short window in which we can still change or cancel your order before it goes to the press. This page explains exactly how that works. The seller responsible for cancellations and refunds is Cao Van Quang (sole proprietor, trading as CopperDoodle).

The 12-hour window

You can change or cancel an order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it, as long as production has not already started. There is no cancellation fee in this window.

What you can change

  • Size, colour or design of an item
  • Quantity, or adding and removing items
  • Shipping address
  • Cancel the order completely

How to cancel or change an order

  1. Email support@copperdoodle.com as soon as possible.
  2. Put “Cancel order” or “Change order” and your order number in the subject line.
  3. Tell us what you would like changed, or that you want to cancel.
  4. We confirm by email within 24 hours. Your cancellation takes effect only once we have confirmed it.

Our support hours are Mon – Sat, 9AM – 5PM EST (US Eastern Time). Requests sent outside those hours are read at the start of the next working day, so please send them as early as you can.

Once production has started

After the 12-hour window, or as soon as an item enters production, the shirt has been printed specifically for you and can no longer be changed or cancelled. This applies even if the order has not shipped yet.

If your order has already entered production we will tell you so when you write, and we will always check the actual production status before saying no.

Cancellation fees

We do not charge a cancellation fee at any point. Within the 12-hour window a cancellation is always a full refund of everything you paid, including shipping. After production has started, cancellation is simply no longer possible — there is no partial-cancellation fee.

Refunds after cancellation

Approved cancellations are refunded to your original payment method. It typically takes 5–10 business days for the money to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If we have to cancel

Very occasionally we may need to cancel an order ourselves — for example a design has to be withdrawn, a size is discontinued by our print partner, or an order fails our fraud screening. If that happens we will email you and refund 100% of what you paid, including shipping, straight away.

After delivery

Cancellation only applies before production. Once your item has been made and shipped, your cover is our Refund & Return Policy and Customer Protection & Buyer Guarantee: damaged, misprinted, incorrect or lost orders are replaced free or fully refunded within 30 days of delivery. Wrong size choices and change of mind are not returnable, because each piece is made to order.
