Privacy Policy

CopperDoodle collects only what is needed to run your order and nothing more. This page explains what we keep, why we keep it, who we share it with and how long we hold it.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website is Cao Van Quang, a sole proprietor trading as CopperDoodle, at Thon Trung Son, Xa Cam Son, Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam. He is also the legal seller and website operator. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect

• Order details — name, shipping address, email address, phone number if you give one, and the items purchased.
• Payment data — handled entirely by our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. We only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, plus the last four digits and card type for support purposes.
• Account data — if you create an account, your email, password (stored encrypted) and order history.
• Support messages — anything you send us, including photos attached to a claim.
• Basic analytics — anonymous browsing and device data that helps us improve the store.

How we use it

To produce and ship your order, send order and shipping updates, answer support requests, handle claims, refunds and payment disputes, screen orders for fraud, meet our accounting obligations, and — only if you opt in — send occasional news. That is it.

What we never do

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Because we are a print-on-demand studio and do not hold stock, some data has to be passed on so your order can actually be made and delivered. We share the minimum required with the following categories of service provider:

• Print and fulfilment partners (third-party printing facilities in the United States) — your name, shipping address and the item details, so they can print, pack and label your order. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
• Shipping carriers (such as USPS and UPS) — your name, shipping address and contact details, so they can deliver the parcel and provide tracking.
• Payment processors — to take your payment securely, issue refunds and handle disputes. They receive your payment and billing details directly; we do not.
• Email and hosting providers — who store the site and send your order and support emails on our behalf.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

International transfers

CopperDoodle is operated from Vietnam and our print partners and carriers are in the United States, so your order data is transferred between those countries in order to fulfil your order. We share only what each provider needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

• Order and transaction records — kept for up to 5 years after the order, so we can handle claims, refunds, disputes and accounting.
• Support messages and claim photos — kept for up to 2 years after the case is closed.
• Account data — kept until you ask us to delete your account.
• Marketing consent — kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
• Analytics data — kept in anonymous or aggregated form only.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 24 hours and complete the request within 30 days. We may need to keep certain order records for the accounting period above even after an account is deleted.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, keep you signed in and measure basic traffic. You can control or clear cookies from your browser settings; blocking them may stop the cart and checkout from working.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
